The branch is a brand new facility developed for AIR’s specific purposes and includes an office/workshop facility complete with state of the art tools to ensure that quality machinery
AIR supplies can be serviced effectively and efficiently for our customers.  AIR has recently purchased a wide selection of Cummins, Caterpillar and Atlas Copco machines and other equipment being added to the fleet during early 2008.

Branch Manager Barrie Worth is responsible for growing AIR’s business in Townsville.  When asked of his plans to grow the branch, Barrie had the following to say, “ultimately the growth of this business is about our service commitment and how our people are married to this commitment. Customers these days have high expectations and our goal is to meet those expectations plus more". 

Bevan Reents who previously worked as a Senior Service Technician for Atlas Copco has been employed as AIR’s National Service Manager.  Bevan has a wealth of experience in compressors and generators and brings significant level of service value to AIR’s customers.  Bevan with his national role will be responsible for establishing a network of diesel fitters and service suppliers within the AIR branch network and providing uniform workshop practises to ensure our national team of service technicians can work effectively and efficiently for our customers. 

Throughout early 2008, AIR plans to extend the branch network to another branch within Queensland and we will keep our customers updated on our progress for this plan as the first.
